🗣Purpose

We are seeking a skilled and motivated BMS Engineer to join our team. The BMS Engineer will be responsible for the installation, testing, and commissioning (T&C) of Building Management Systems (BMS) Devices/Systems and assisting in energy audits and site surveys. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with BMS systems, HVAC controls, and energy management practices.

🛑Responsibilities

Installation & Commissioning:

• Install and configure BMS hardware and software components, including sensors, controllers, and network devices.
• Assist in commissioning BMS systems to ensure they meet design specifications and operational requirements.
• Perform functional tests and troubleshoot BMS systems to identify and resolve issues.
• Ensure all installations comply with industry standards and safety regulations.

🛑Testing & Calibration:

• Conduct tests to verify the performance of BMS systems and components.
• Calibrate sensors, actuators, and other BMS devices to ensure accurate data collection and control.
• Document test results and provide feedback to the project team for system optimization.

🛑Energy Audits & Site Surveys:

• Assist energy engineers in conducting site surveys for energy audits.
• Collect and record data related to building systems, energy consumption, and equipment performance.
• Identify opportunities for energy savings and system improvements during site surveys.
• Support the preparation of energy audit reports by providing accurate data and insights.

🛑Maintenance & Support:

• Provide ongoing support for BMS systems, including routine maintenance and troubleshooting.
• Respond to service requests and ensure timely resolution of BMS-related issues.
• Perform system upgrades and updates as needed to maintain optimal performance.

🛑Collaboration & Communication:

• Work closely with other team members, including engineers, contractors, and clients, to ensure successful project execution.
• Communicate effectively with project stakeholders to provide updates and address any concerns.
• Participate in team meetings and contribute to project planning and execution.

🛑Educational Qualification: 

• Diploma or B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering, HVAC, Automation, or a related field.

🛑Experience:

• Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in BMS installation, testing, and commissioning.
• Experience with energy audits and site surveys is a plus.

🛑Technical Skills:

• Proficiency in BMS systems, HVAC controls, and automation technologies.
• Strong understanding of electrical wiring, sensors, and network configurations.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.
• Follow safety rules and report on safety issues.
• Prepare daily/monthly reports.

🛑Certifications:

• Relevant certifications in BMS, HVAC, or energy management are desirable.

🛑Soft Skills:

• Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

🛑Physical Requirements: Ability to work on-site, including lifting and maneuvering equipment and working in various environmental conditions.

• The role requires both office work and fieldwork, including site visits, inspections, and hands-on technical tasks.
